10 Beauty Product Dupes – Get More for Your Money!

Sometimes as females we love to veer towards the “name brand” products. I’m sure we have all been guilty of this at some point. Have you ever stopped and wondered why? Purses and shoes may be a different story, but when it comes to beauty products, what’s the point? Do we really think that an innocent bystander will stop us and say “OMG! I love that Chanel Riva nail polish color you’re sporting!” . .. . not at all. Let’s be serious – once you’ve stepped foot out of the house, no one can tell what container your beauty products came out of. Wouldn’t it be nice to get more bang for your buck? I don’t have a magical coupon code for you, but I do, however, have a list of beauty product dupes to try! Dupe meaning a duplicate, an expensive vs an inexpensive beauty product. And let me tell you – these dupe products are identical to the name brands for half the price!
Here are 10 amazing beauty product dupes:

These two palettes are so identical, it’s crazy! The Naked palette is such a coveted eyeshadow palette by all and now there is no reason to spend the extra money. The only difference being that the Naked palette has 12 shadows where as Nude Awakening has 8. Still, you are getting all of those gorgeous, basic nudes for more than half the cost! The Urban Decay Naked Palette runs $50.00 vs the Wet ‘n Wild Nude Awakening for $4.99 – amazing!

Original: Diorshow Mascara $25.00
dupe2
These two could be twins – yet another amazing dupe! Both of these mascaras will give you that desired length, volume and thickness, but one is half the cost. So many beauty fans love the Diorshow – if only they knew they could get the same effects for a fraction of the price! The Dior Diorshow runs $25.00 vs the L’Oreal Voluminous for $5.84.

Original: MAC Creme Cup Lipstick $15.00
dupe3
My absolute favorite lipstick has an identical dupe. If you read my Spring Lipstick post, then you know I adore MAC Creme Cup. Now you can get the exact same shade for half the price! Maybelline’s Pink Please is a identical match to MAC Creme Cup! This perfect baby pink can be worn year round and literally goes with any outfit! MAC Creme Cup runs $15.00 vs Maybelline’s Pink Please can be found for $5.45! Another awesome dupe!

Original: Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray $39.00
dupe4
Orbie’s Dry Texturizing Spray was most famously used on tween sensation Justin Bieber, amongst other celebrities, is an amazing texture spray. Although it is marketed as a dry shampoo, I personally do not like to use it as such and solely use it for texture. A fabulous dupe for this product is Oscar Blandi’s Texture & Volume Spray. This spray will give you the exact same effect with even more volume. Although it is sill a little costly, it still is cheaper than Oribe Dry and works identically (if not better)! Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray will cost you $39.00 vs Oscar Blandi’s Texture & Volume Spray for 25.00.

Original: Dior Forever Foundation $47.00
dupe5
Before I got into my BB creams (if you’ve read my previous posts, you know how obsessed I am with BB), I used to use Dior Forever Foundation. I still sometimes will use this foundation and do love it! BUT NOW there is an awesome dupe for it! Boots Stay Perfect Foundation is an identical replica. Both of these foundations blend really well into your skin and will last you all day. Dior Forever Foundation will set you back $47.00 vs Boots Stay Perfect Foundation for $8.39.

Original: NARS Orgasm Blush $29.00
dupe6
The perfect summer glow in a blush from! NARS Orgasm has been a favorite of all beauty geeks for quite some time now – but little did we know there is a dupe for this, as well. Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso and NARS Orgasm are one in the same, but with very different prices. NARS Orgasm costs $29.00 vs Milani’s Baked Blush in Luminoso is $6.97 – a steal!

dupe7
Gel eyelines are amazing. They glide on with such ease and they will last you all day without a smudge. The only, only difference between these two liners is the price. I have literally tested one on each eye and have worn them throughout the day and noticed no difference. Bobbi Brown’s gel eyeliner will cost you $23.00 vs Maybelline’s gel eyeliner for $9.99 – a no brainer!

dupe8
Yet another, total and complete dupe! These two like the rest are again identical. They both dual as a concealer and highlighter in one. They come in a handy twist tube with a brush on the end for easy application. YSL’s version will cost you $40.00 vs the Maybelline version for $6.44. You can get 6 Maybelline’s for the price of one YSL – beauty craziness!

dupe9
Are your pretty harsh on your hair? Highlights, bleach, flat irons and blow dryers are all extremely damaging for your hair. Truth is, we’re all guilty of using them. We all need a corrector. Kérastase’s Chroma Riche mask is like a drink of water for your damaged hair, but it too has a dupe! L’Oreal Total Repair mask is one in the same! Marketed for damaged hair, this mask is too a drink of water for those damaged strands. The Kérastase mask will cost you $61.00 vs the L’Oreal mask for $5.99!

dupe10
The last and final dupe I have for you is a nail polish dupe. Chanel’s Particuliere has a twin sister from Essie. Mink Muffs and Particuliere are total dupes. I’ve painted one hand Chanel and one hand Essie and did not notice much of a difference if any! Chanel’s Particulieres will cost you $27.00 vs Essie’s Mink Muffs for $7.79.
I have A LOT more dupes including MAC eyeshadows, lipsticks more nail polishes and hair products too. Let me know in the comments below if you would like me to do more dupe posts! Check out my website for more product reviews and potential dupe posts
